For more than 25 years, Shivam Charitable Trust, led by Dr. Prakash H. Kurmi, has dedicated itself to improving healthcare, education, and community welfare across Gujarat. Guided by the motto “Service Beyond Self,” the Trust is now working towards its most ambitious healthcare initiative—a ₹500 Crore Multi-Specialty Charitable Hospital in Hathijan, East Ahmedabad.
This landmark project aims to provide advanced medical care under one roof while ensuring that Indian Armed Forces personnel and their families receive 100% free healthcare. The hospital will also offer affordable and charitable treatment to economically weaker families from East Ahmedabad and surrounding districts.
The proposed hospital will feature 200 beds, modern ICU and HDU facilities, emergency and trauma care, modular operation theatres, MRI, CT Scan, dialysis, blood bank, cancer care, cardiology, neurology, orthopaedics, paediatrics, women’s healthcare, and a dedicated diabetes centre under the guidance of Dr. Prakash H. Kurmi.
Beyond healthcare, the project will create employment opportunities, strengthen the region’s medical infrastructure, and become a centre for research, medical education, and preventive healthcare initiatives.
