For 25 years, Shivam Charitable Trust has been serving India with one mission: service beyond self. From protecting our protectors through BSF health camps, solar lights, and security cabins, to nurturing children’s education with over 50,000 books and school adoptions, our projects span across health checkups, cataract surgeries, and diabetes awareness. We empower women with skills, support LGBTQ+ communities through Project Samantha, and bring cultural celebrations and green initiatives to the nation’s borders. With every initiative, we stand for dignity, compassion, and hope—impacting thousands of lives, year after year.

Founder
Dr. Prakash Kurmi
Dr. Prakash Kurmi, MBBS, MD (Medicine), FIDM (Diabetologist), is a distinguished physician currently managing Shivam Multispeciality Hospital in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Dr. Kurmi has been associated with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) since 1995. In 2007, he established the Shivam Charitable Trust, dedicating it to the service of the nation and its people. Despite coming from a humble family background, he has achieved remarkable success in the field of medicine.
Coming from a lower-middle-class family, Dr. Kurmi deeply understands the struggles of the underprivileged. “The hardships I faced in life are what inspire me to help others. True success lies in serving society,” he says. For him, soldiers and the nation remain the highest priority. His vision and dedication to society make him a true source of inspiration.
Since his college years in 1995, Dr. Prakash has been actively involved with the RSS. He has worked alongside various RSS leaders, expanding his contributions toward social service. He firmly believes that a strong and organized society, built on the principles of the Sangh, represents the real strength of the nation. He consistently integrates the ideals of the RSS into his work, remaining committed to the welfare of society.
