Launched: 2016 | Ongoing

In every village we visit, in every camp we organize, one truth stands tall:
👉 When you empower a woman, you empower an entire generation.

Since 2016, Shivam Charitable Trust has been committed to breaking the barriers that hold women back—be it financial dependence, lack of education, or limited opportunities. Our Women Empowerment Project is built on a vision where women are not just participants in society, but leaders, decision-makers, and changemakers.

Why Women Empowerment?

  • Because in many parts of India, women still have to fight for the basics: education, safety, and dignity.
  • Because families thrive when women are independent—children study better, households grow stronger, and communities flourish.
  • Because India’s future cannot be written without women holding the pen.

What We Do

  • Skill Development Training: Teaching women tailoring, handicrafts, beauty & wellness, digital literacy, and small-business management.
  • Employment & Entrepreneurship Support: Helping women start micro-businesses, connecting them with local markets, and ensuring financial independence.
  • Awareness Workshops: On health, hygiene, legal rights, and gender equality.
  • Scholarships for Girl Students: Providing books, fees, and resources to ensure girls don’t drop out of school.
  • Support Networks: Building women self-help groups in rural areas for collective strength and problem-solving.

Our Impact in Numbers (2016–2025)

  • 5,000+ women trained in vocational skills.
  • 1,200+ women successfully employed or running small businesses.
  • 3,500+ girls supported with books, scholarships, and school materials.
  • 100+ awareness camps held in rural Gujarat on women’s health & rights.
  • Families in 50+ villages empowered through women-led self-help groups.

Stories of Change

We have seen women who once depended on daily wages now earning with dignity through their own tailoring shops. We have seen mothers who could barely write their name now sending their daughters to college. We have seen girls once stopped from studying now dreaming to become doctors and engineers.

These are not just stories—they are proof that empowerment works.

The Road Ahead

By 2030, our goal is to:

  • Empower 25,000+ women across Gujarat.
  • Provide education support to 10,000+ girls.
  • Create sustainable businesses led by women entrepreneurs.

We believe that women are not asking for favors, they are demanding what is rightfully theirs: opportunity and respect.

At Shivam Charitable Trust, every time a woman learns a new skill, earns her own income, or sends her daughter to school, we know we are not just empowering women—we are reshaping India’s future.
