Healthcare is not a privilege—it is a basic human right. Yet in countless rural villages across Gujarat, thousands of families live without access to even the most basic medical care. Hospitals are far away, treatment is expensive, and for many families, visiting a doctor means losing a day’s wage.
At Shivam Charitable Trust, we decided to take healthcare to those who need it the most. Since 2013, our mission has been simple yet powerful: “If they cannot reach doctors, we will take doctors to them.”
Mobile Health Camps & Clinics on Wheels
We launched Free Health Check-Up Camps and mobile clinics with our ambulance services, traveling to remote villages and tribal belts across Gujarat. These camps provide:
- Full body checkups for adults and children.
- Consultations from certified doctors.
- Basic medicines distributed free of cost.
- Health awareness talks for prevention of lifestyle diseases.
Our ambulance has become a “moving hospital”—delivering hope to the doorsteps of families who otherwise would never see a doctor.
Impact in Numbers (2013–2025)
- 120+ Free Health Check-Up Camps organized.
- 35,000+ people benefited directly.
- 15,000+ free medicines distributed.
- 80+ doctors and medical volunteers partnered with us across different camps.
- 50+ villages covered across Gujarat.
Stories from the Ground
Beyond Treatment – Awareness & Prevention
Every camp is not only about diagnosing diseases but also about teaching families about hygiene, nutrition, diabetes, and blood pressure control. Prevention is as important as cure, and our volunteers focus on spreading awareness in a simple, relatable manner.
Partnerships for Greater Reach
